Hello, I’m Tim O’Shenko. At least, that is the name I choose to use here.
I like music. I love music. Fact is, I plan to make a career out of music. Be it as a composer, a professor, or playing bass for a mediocre jazz band in the lobby of a Holiday Inn, I want to be involved in the world of music.
I also like history. Hence my nom de plume, a sort of in-joke on the name of an old “Irish Bolshevik,” Semyon Timoshenko. I also enjoy the study of theology. I’m not shy about my belief in God, but I also try not to be naive about this belief.
Finally, I like stories. Movies, books, those Bob Dylan songs with some 17 verses…and of course, graphic novels and comics.
So, given what I have just told you, you now have some idea what to expect to see posted on this site, yes? Good.
Aside from that, there’s not much you need know about me.
